Every exhibition is a new event and companies plan for every new event with a new strategy. A strategy for one event may not hold good for the next event so every time you have to develop a plan that will work for you and make it a successful event. To develop a successful plan, following is a list of the Do’s and Don’ts one should consider.

DO:

1) Research and look into the history of an exhibition event and that will help in understanding the visitors that will visit. Knowledge about the location can also help in a big way.

2) Planning can help a lot and gives an advantage over the competitors. Planning of how much stock to keep and how many literature should be needed, etc can be very handful. It is always good to plan months in advance as you may need to order the required exhibition equipments and you can be ready beforehand in case there are any changes.

3) Its a great motivation if you set goals for yourselves and make changes to perform better next time. Goals can be in terms of sales you generated or even how many flyers you made available to the visitors.

4) Creativity can always be very advantagous and will keep you one step ahead. A unique display or an eye catchy literature can be very memorable and can create a unique brand identity for your company.

5) Listening is a very good habit and its always good to listen your customers. You should listen and understand what they need and that will help you decide what to say next. More talks about your product may not be a good idea but bieng polite and offering a literature and understanding customer requirement can be very impressive.

DON’T:

1) Don’t be afraid to ask questions from your competitors about a great design or an attractive literature or an impressive stand. This may help you in future.

2) Don’t use a negative body language like folded arms, frowning, etc. Too much sales oriented talks can be scary for the customers and removes the hope of future business relation. Use the terminology according to the level of understanding of the customer.

3) Don’t rely only on the products display. Staff training is a very important part of an exhibition. This helps in selling the product more effectively. Tell your hosts not to eat or talk on phone as it will be a turn off for customers.

4) Don’t use competitions if others are doing. Find out a motivation factor for the audience that can appeal them to visit your booth. Offering drinks or some entertainment can increase visitors.

5) Don’t forget that literature is most important. people are more intersted in reading about your products than talking with sales person. They can take it home and read the details again so it can be more effective.

The above list may not ensure you to have a good exhibition season but it can help you kick start your planning.

It is a proven fact that exhibitions and trade shows are a great way to market your products and services. Whether you are planning a new product launch or you are an established company trying to keep up your public profile, there is always a trade show where you can advertise your product on a person to person level and with a specifically targeted audience. There is no other better way than an exhibition stall to do that.

The preparation and planning are the keys to a successful exhibition of your products. You have to focus on the staff training and pre-show marketing as this how you will ultimately make a great sale. No matter how attractive your stall looks, whatever fantastic signage or AV displays you may have, you will not make sales and new contacts unless you have the right event company handling your exhibition project.

A good exhibition company will always help you on every step of the way through the exhibiting process from initial design ideas and through to build and on-site assistance while fabrication.

Step 1:

Find a good exhibition management company. Do some research, check for recommendations and portfolios. Often the shows organisers will have a preferred supplier but be aware that you are not obliged to use them. You can choose your own.

Step 2:

Set up a meeting with your selected exhibition management company. You should have a budget ready in mind and some initial ideas as to what you are looking for your booth design. A good creative exhibition company will be able to interpret your own ideas for your stand or create some for you.

Step 3:

Your exhibition company will assign a project manager who will walk you through the process and be your contact with stand designers, graphic designers, furniture supplies and on-site labour.

Step 4:

Once a design proposal is finalized, let your exhibition company work for you. You should then focus on the show itself and how to make the exhibition a great sales success for you company.

This is why it is so important to choose the correct exhibition company who have the experience and knowledge in the industry so that you can relax. There are so many things to think about and there is usually so little time. A good exhibition company will cover all the little things you may not have considered. With experience they will know all the pitfalls to avoid and be able to advise on any little extras they think will give your stand a big boost.

Exhibiting can be a really exciting and ultimate enjoyable and profitable experience if you have a good exhibition company handling your project.

In June 2008, Google blog said that very soon their system will be able to extract text from the flash websites and after that they started working with Adobe on this and tried to find a solution where flash designers may not have to change their way of working also and there should be a win win situation. Earlier Google used to get no text from the flash websites but after some time there were claims that there has been drastic improvements.

Have there been drastic improvements?

Adobe, about the same time in mid-2008 spoke of “dramatic improvements” for search results and increasingly relevant listings for millions of Rich Internet Applications. By now, neither Adobe nor Google have published precise numbers – about how many more pages are being crawled and how this has affected search results.

Adobe continues to assure developers that they can be confident that their page will be found by users everywhere. This is not quite the case, particularly when Flash pages have little textual content. The vast majority of Flash content is not composed primarily of words, it is built with video, images and animation, and no details about any of those will find their way into search results with this new approach. Google’s new Flash algorithms still extract only text and links, leaving everything else looking like the same old black box.

The “U” factor in the URL

Associating a unique URL with all unique content is the way to go. The search process is much better served this way, with Flash implementations dynamically loading text throughout the user interaction as the URL stays the same. Google can now track and remember those interactions, in a limited fashion, and when the URL is maintained then everything dynamically loaded through the user interactions will be tied to that single URL.

In simpler words, when a content that is dynamically loaded into Flash from, say, the third user interaction matches a search query, that Flash application is presented in the results. However, when the user clicks on that result in Google, the content is not found on the page. Instead, the user who is searching for that content, has to continue interacting with the Flash application until the “third” interaction content gets loaded. This might cause a frustration and prompt some users to move on. Flash developers and site designers should work around this by creating distinct URLs for all content. This also helps the site be more “viral,” also.

What this means for SEO professionals?

Flash has always been a source of frustration for SEO professionals, while some think that text should always be HTML, and Flash be limited to non-text content, like videos, animations, motion graphics and illustrations. Others believe the other way. Who’s right? Work continues on this important matter, but it is no longer controversial to say that it is getting easier all the time for SEO professionals to work with Flash-based sites – and it will be increasingly faster and better going forward.

Web designers may choose different things to make a website. However, they all work hard on same points to attract the interests of site visitors. In addition, they work very hard on giving a better and attractive appeal to web sites.

Websites are just not an advertisement page but it is much more than that. It is a marketing executive that works for you 24×7 and round the clock. It is a mouthpiece of your company. Being a face of your company’s worth and credibility, a website acts as a connection between your company and your customers.

Web design companies try to give a duly credit to an online identity of your company by picking the right technical functionalities for it. They also work hard to make it functional and search engine friendly by putting required features and technologies. Though search engine optimization or SEO is a different subject altogether.

What are the components of a pleasing website design:
Choosing a professional layout is not an easy thing. An experienced web design agency works hard to get a corporate appeal that says lacks of words for its concerned business identity. For layout, they choose a perfect combination of color, overall appearance, content, easy access, user friendliness, etc. Failing in making an attractive layout may drive away so many customers that matter a lot for your business’s growth.

While making money with AdSense, there is one mistake made by all of us all the time, that is constant checking of AdSense Account in anticipation and finding out how many dollars we have made today.

Is that a mistake?
Yes, because it takes away from our main goal and what we should be actually doing.

Money making with AdSense is something that comes over a significant amount of time and not in days but months or may be more. We cannot simply write an article or a blog post and it will generate lot of AdSense income for us. Making money with AdSense requires lot of efforts. Usually, when we are constantly checking our AdSense account, we are hoping in that somehow we are going to have some amount in our account. Let me tell you, it is not going to happen.

Having said that, we don’t mean that you should not check your AdSense account. In fact, you can learn a lot from doing so. However, most of us are checking our AdSense accounts simply hoping that today will be the big payday. In fact our main focus should be to create a unique and good content based web site and should hire an experienced web design & SEO company to do that.

You are running a website and want to earn money from it? May be your blog has hundreds of visitors in a day because of your articles so you can take the advantage of traffic you are getting on your website. With the modern days ad applications like Google Adsense, money making has become easy.

You can use your web site real estate for displaying the advertisements of others. Adsense open up their websites to in order to earn money on a ‘per-click’ basis. It is a payment system where the website owner is paid a certain amount when the user visiting that web site clicks on the advertisements placed there.

Payment is only given when the advertised link is clicked. This revenue model is called the “affiliate model” which provides opportunities to people who visit that particular website. Cost per Impression or CPI is a word commonly used in online marketing programs which is a method of measuring the cost of an online campaign. This technique is used to gauge the effectiveness of online marketing tools.

A few simple steps is given below:-

1) Visit Google Adsense website and create an account.
2) Joining process may take up to a few days as Google has to verify the website and analyze the statistics associated with your website like hits, traffic and content.
3) Once the account and website is approved, you can start creating the ads to be placed on your website.

The motive is that visitors should click the ads but it should not spoil their browsing experience on your site because you want your regulars to keep visiting.

Web designing companies always try to clarify it, but some people think that just getting a Web site, particularly if it’s from a company that also does Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and that means an absolutely free lifetime supply of Google listing and unique hits.

the assumptions that people make about the process seems to have no end, specially if they are not techy types. The computer professionals have always heard for years that “You just have to push a button – Thats it” and you can easily find people complaining on the Internet user forums about their Web site package of $99 not making them first in the Google search results. This is due to an amazing lack of knowledge about the whole process.

Making a site “searchable” by the search engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc is an entirely different matter than undertaking a web design done which might not be possible in a “low cost”. For getting business through internet, you may have to spend a bit more.

Design – does it matter?

Web design is something that any one can deliver but if a company deliveres site that did not get indexed and ranked, in Google or other search engines, they would soon be out of business. A website design does not constitute an “SEO agreement” unless the deal is fixed and extra work is undertaken to attain the goals. Some SEO clients pay lot of dollars for companies to promote their sites continuously to generate internet leads. Any SEO deal, therefore, is always completely separate from simple Web site designing.

SEO is all about competing with your competitors in the search engines on basis of particular keywords, a process that requires constant analysis over a long period of time. If you think of getting a new site designed, or have purchased a small business web site package from someone, and have not exclusively paid for SEO work to promote your website, you and you alone are responsible for the levels of traffic to the site after it is launched.

SEO details that you must know

SEO is a continous process, and means ongoing work on your or some other’s part – the addition of fresh andunique content, continuing modification and editing of existing content, changes to the existing web architecture, link building and other activities. Together these can generate new traffic and increase existing relationships with users. In simple words, once your web site is launched, your project is hardly finished on day your site is launched and you cannot sit back and just wait for leads to come, specially if you are not doing everything you can to promote the site online. It is as important as marketing a business offline.
